Important FAQ’s
-
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Capacity: Up to 20 attendees for an intimate event with great conversations.
1. Palate Exploration: Start with a guided beer tasting led by Dana Kaluzny, Co-Owner of Endswell Beer. Sample and learn about 5 variety of beer styles from local breweries.
2. Expressing Your Likes and Dislikes: As you sample each beer, you'll be encouraged to share your thoughts openly. What words best describe what you smell and taste? What surprises you about a particular beer? What are some turn offs? We’ll keep the conversation relaxed and fun to practice feeling comfortable saying your preferences out loud.
3. Confidence Building: Throughout the tasting, we will discuss the power of voicing your opinions, both personally and professionally. What does it mean to be assertive with kindness, have boundaries and be discerning in your business decisions and interactions with colleagues and clients? We’ll navigate some honest talk about what is at stake when you don’t communicate this and how we can support each other to share in this hard work.
4. Takeaway Strategies and Shopping: Leave with practical strategies and tips for effectively expressing yourself in business settings, whether it's speaking up in meetings, pitching ideas, or buying beer confidently. Wind down the evening while shopping at the Nottawa General Store (from groceries to housewares, they’ve got you covered!)
5. Networking and Sharing: Connect with fellow women in business locally through sharing your own experiences, missteps and influences on your journey.

Yes! Such a hidden (soon-not-to-be) gem only 5min down the road from Collingwood. Until our brewery is open, we are partnering with amazing local venues that we love to bring people together.
We will be upstairs in their art gallery and event space. Apologies - this event space can only be accessed using stairs and is not accessible.
Driving: There is parking onsite in front of the building on 124, or to the side of the building. We encourage CARPOOLING!
DO NOT COME TO ENDSWELL BREWERY! Our brewery is not open to the public yet.

5 varieties of beer in 4oz pours or less. We want people to drive home safely, so this tasting is about quality, not quantity. You will drink the equivalent of a pint over 2hrs.
